These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Scattered Guide. By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts & listings
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a listing. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit about their shop, including hours, address, and photos, and for keeping it up to date.
We may edit, unpublish, or remove a listing at our discretion — for example, if it's inaccurate, a duplicate, or violates these Terms.
Subscriptions & billing
Plus and Featured plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard; your listing remains live on the Free plan and paid placement benefits end at the close of your current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false, misleading, or infringing content; not to use the site to harvest data or scrape listings at scale; and not to interfere with the site's normal operation.
Disclaimer of warranties
The directory is provided "as is." We do our best to keep listing information accurate, but we don't guarantee that hours, addresses, or other shop details are current or error-free — always confirm with the shop directly before visiting.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scattered Guide is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including reliance on listing information that turns out to be inaccurate.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
